1. Who this notice covers

This notice explains how Tellwright Systems, Inc. and its subsidiary Tellwright International Ltd (“Tellwright”, “we”) handle personal information about you when you visit this website, contact us, attend our events, apply for a job, or deal with us on behalf of a customer, supplier or partner.

It does not cover data processed in our products on behalf of our customers. When an agency or organization uses Concord, Handset, Kerbside, Murmur or Kinship, it decides what data the product processes and why, and Tellwright processes that data on its behalf under our agreement with it. Questions about that data, including requests to access or delete it, should be made to the organization concerned. We will pass on any request we receive to the right organization where we can identify it.

2. What we collect

  • When you visit this website: our hosting provider processes your IP address and the pages you request in order to deliver them and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind, and the site loads nothing from other websites.
  • When you contact us or request a briefing: your name, work email, organization, role and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • When you attend an event: your registration details, any dietary or access requirements you give us, and for cleared sessions the confirmation of your clearance provided by your security office.
  • When you apply for a job: your application, our interview notes, references and, if you receive an offer, the results of background checks and, for cleared roles, information needed for the clearance process.
  • When you deal with us for a customer or supplier: your business contact details and our correspondence, and for users of our products, the account details needed to give you access and the audit records of your use.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to reply to you, to prepare and hold briefings, to run events, to recruit, to provide and secure our products and services, to keep the records the law and our government contracts require, and to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information with our service providers, under contract and only for the services they provide to us; with our professional advisers; with government agencies where the law or a government contract requires it, including for security clearance processing; and with a buyer or successor if all or part of our business is sold. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Briefing requests and correspondence: three years from our last contact. Event registrations: two years. Job applications: two years after the role is filled, or longer where the law or a government contract requires. Product user accounts and audit records: for the life of the customer’s agreement and as long afterwards as the agreement and the law require.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to or limit certain uses. To make a request, write to privacy@tellwrightsystems.com. We will confirm your identity before acting, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, Tellwright International Ltd is the controller for personal information it collects, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Tellwright is based in the United States and the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal information between them, or to service providers elsewhere, we use the safeguards the law requires.

8. Security

We protect personal information with the same controls we use for our own systems, described on our security page.

We will post any changes to this notice on this page. Contact: privacy@tellwrightsystems.com, or Privacy, Tellwright Systems, Inc., 2100 Halvern Plaza, Suite 1400, Arlington, VA 22209.
