Connect what you already have
Most agencies hold the answers to their own questions. They are spread across a records management system, computer-aided dispatch, case files, jail management, evidence, cameras, tip lines and the systems of neighboring agencies.
Concord connects to those systems where they are, without replacing them, and brings what they hold into a single searchable workspace. A detective searching a name sees every report, call, arrest, citation, vehicle and associate in her agency’s systems, and in every system shared with it, on one screen and with a citation to each source.
Concord ships with connectors for 412 systems from 140 vendors, including every records and dispatch system with more than 1 percent of the U.S. market, and a connector kit for the rest. New sources are usually connected in days, not months.
From a name to a network
Concord’s investigation workspace lets an analyst start from anything: a person, a phone number, a plate, an address, an incident. Each search opens a profile that gathers every record about that entity, and a graph of the entities connected to it, which the analyst can expand one step at a time.
With Kinship, those profiles are resolved: six spellings of a name and three dates of birth become one person, with a confidence score for every match. With Handset and Kerbside, a profile includes the devices and vehicles associated with the person, and where they have been seen.
Natural-language search lets any user ask a question in plain English, and case summaries draft a cited account of everything Concord holds about a case for the investigator to review.1
Real-time operations
For real-time crime centers and operations centers, Concord Live shows calls for service, unit locations, camera feeds, Kerbside alerts, Murmur alerts and open cases on one map. Analysts can push a briefing to an officer’s phone before the officer arrives: who lives at the address, which vehicles are associated with it, whether anyone there has a warrant or a history of violence.
Concord Live connects to more than 60 camera and video management systems, so agencies can bring in their own cameras and those that businesses and residents choose to share.
Share across agencies, under your rules
Crime does not stop at jurisdictional lines. Concord lets agencies share selected data with each other, with fusion centers and with state and federal partners, under agreements each agency controls. Shared data is searchable by partner agencies alongside their own, and every search of it is logged against the searching user.
2,317 mission partners now use Concord, and most share at least one source with a neighboring agency.
Audit, retention and access
- Audit. Every search, view and export is logged against the user, the case number and the reason given. Supervisors and auditors can review the log at any time.
- Retention. Each mission partner sets retention for each source, in line with its own records schedule and law.2
- Access. Role-based and attribute-based access controls down to the individual field, with criminal justice information controls built in.
- Your data. Each mission partner owns its data. Tellwright staff access customer environments only with the customer’s permission, and every access is logged.

Common questions
Does Concord replace our records management system?
No. Concord connects to your existing systems and leaves them as the system of record. Most agencies keep every system they have.
Who owns the data in Concord?
The mission partner that contributes it. Tellwright does not sell customer data and does not use one customer’s data for another.
Does Concord make decisions?
No. Concord finds, connects and summarizes information. Every decision is made by a trained person at the agency.
How long does deployment take?
A typical city or county agency is live on its core sources in 60 to 120 days. The mid-sized city in our mission stories opened its real-time crime center in 94 days.
Can we share data with neighboring agencies?
Yes, under agreements each agency controls. You decide what to share, with whom, and for how long.
Works with Concord
- Natural-language search and case summaries are available to Concord Enterprise customers in the United States. Summaries are drafts for review and are marked as such until a user approves them. ↩
- Retention settings apply to data held in Concord. Copies held by partner agencies with which data was shared, and data attached to cases, are retained under the policies of the agency that holds them. ↩
